Ways To Pleasure Yourself In The Shower

LALBUFERA Bétera BANDING STATION

Little Owl (Athene noctua)

.- 11.22.1909 Bétera, El Camp de Turia, Valencia

Yesterday we made a new day of ringing in our station Bétera ( El Camp de Turia ). The day was not bad, except for the presence of hunters , their hounds and "trace" features. As all know bander, banding and dogs are incompatible (more if you are hunting dogs), so when you meet everyone in the field unpleasant things happen to the dogs go through the networks of the rings side by side and let as I recall the fabrics made a Gruyère cheese.

For the strictly " birdlike," the most interesting has been the high number of birds captured (106 banding and 10 controls of 15 different species). To highlight the large number of reed bunting (Emberiza schoeniclus) banded (13) to an interior location, since this species is rare outside coastal wetlands in our territory. In fact, half of the catch have done in an abandoned olive grove, near a ravine.

Before dawn, thanks to the untimely early start we've hit, we had captured a European owl (Athene noctua) . Monica has made some photos of the day but have it.

Other interesting catches were 2 copies of wren (Troglodytes troglodytes) , rare in Camp de Turia outside forest environments. These wintering birds are in the area, so they probably have fallen from a mountainous area or perhaps from further away (from Central "?).

Another interesting catch has been that of a warbler (Acrocephalus scirpaceus) adult behind in their migration. A ringing too late for the species, and also out of a wetland, which are always much more abundant.

Moreover, a good "mosquito " thanks to the complaint, it never fails, and several catches varied as detailed below:
