this morning during a ringing in our resort located on the Colomera Mata ( L'Albufera ), we banded an aquatic warbler (Acrocephalus paludicola) . It is the first time that our group ring species in the area. This appointment should add it to that obtained last April 17 in Ullal Baldoví (Swedish) by Ringing Group PIT-ROIG .

seems that this year has given particularly good in their wintering areas, and climbing a substantial contingent, as also in Albacete have banded one after a long time no smell!

Aquatic Warbler (Acrocephalus paludicola)
Another issue of aquatic warbler (Acrocephalus paludicola ) was observed and photographed by Joseph Ventura last 14/04/2009 in Marsh dels Moros (Sagunto) .
With this van and 3 (we know) during spring passage in the province of Valencia , plus one that ring if I'm right in the Prat de Cabanes-Torreblanca ( Castelló ) would be 4 in total. In Alacant know if there are any appointment.

In Albufera 3 appointments have been made (2 in Baldoví and 1 in Colomera ) plus the Moors 4 and of Torreblanca 5. Truly a remarkable migratory path!

As stated by Paul , if it looks like this year has been good warbler warbler, because you have to add more lanes catch Castelló by Joan Castany and Miguel Tirado in the Prat de Cabanes and Mouth of riu Millars .
